About Lori

A career that doesn’t fit neatly in one box.

For a long time, I thought that was a problem. It isn’t. It’s how I learned to see the connections other people miss.

Curiosity became a career.

The common thread

I kept getting interested in how things worked.

Technology. Data. Operations. Insurance. Homebuilding. Executive support. Customer service. Websites. Presentations. Processes. Systems.

And especially, why they didn’t work.

I’ve never been content to learn only my assigned piece. I want to know what comes before it, what happens after it, who depends on it, and why the process was built that way.

That instinct has taken me from receptionist to builder of systems, from executive support to operations leadership, and from “we’ve always done it this way” to a better question: does it still work?

“I do not want you dependent on me. I want the work to keep working better because I was there.”
?

I ask why.

Not to challenge people. To understand purpose before changing process.

I learn what I need.

I’m comfortable entering complexity, finding the structure, and translating what I learn.

✓

I leave it usable.

The best solution is one other people can understand, maintain, and carry forward.

Professional direction

Facilitator. Executive and operations support. Process improvement. Systems and data.

The titles have changed over the years. The useful part has stayed the same: I notice what isn’t connecting, ask the questions that reveal why, and help turn scattered pieces into workable progress.

That’s the story

Now tell me what you’re trying to make work.
