What I do

You don’t have to know what the solution is.

You may only know that something’s taking too long, getting dropped, creating confusion, or making work harder than it needs to be. That’s enough to start.

Start with the problem.

What’s not working?

I work where people, process, information, and tools stop fitting together.

“This process is a mess.”

Maybe it grew one workaround at a time. Maybe nobody owns the whole thing. I trace what actually happens, not only what the procedure says should happen.

“We have the information. Somewhere.”

Files, emails, spreadsheets, software, notes, and people’s heads. I organize and connect it so the right person can find the right thing.

“Our systems don’t work together.”

Sometimes the answer is technology. Often it isn’t. First I look at what you have, what it should accomplish, and where the disconnect begins.

“Everyone knows a different piece.”

I gather those pieces, translate across roles, and turn separate points of view into a shared picture people can act on.

“I know what I want. I don’t know how to make it happen.”

Bring me the half-finished project, pile of information, or “wouldn’t it be great if” thought. We’ll find the path between idea and working.

“We’ve always done it this way.”

Fine. Why? There may be an excellent reason. I want to understand it before changing anything, then decide whether it still serves the work.

So what do you hire me to do?

Organize. Improve. Research. Coordinate. Build. Untangle.

The deliverable depends on the problem. It might be a process, a tool, a document, a presentation, a database, a plan, or the structure that helps everyone see what happens next.
